Southern Idaho Volleyball Academy is centered in Twin Falls. Idaho and assists players throughout the Magic Valley and beyond to expand their volleyball skills. SIVA was created 16 years ago by Jim Cartisser and is currently managed by Andria Harshman and SIVA Board of Directors.  The club exists to give players an opportunity to play at the next level and offers recruiting help for high school players.  SIVA also develops young players who are just beginning their volleyball journey.

We are starting our 7th year of SIVA Academy's and are very excited to announce a new structure this spring.  Check it out and be sure to get signed up asap as spots fill up quickly for our Winter Academy's!

Sessions

Dates: Thursdays (PRACTICES) and Saturdays (SCRIMMAGES)

• February 26th, 28th, March 5th, 7th, 12th, 14th 

Times THURSDAYS:

• K-5th 5:30-6:45pm -  Level 1 - Beginners
• 6th-12th 6:45-8:00pm - Level 2 - Beginners / Intermediate and Level 3 - Advanced

Times SATURDAYS:

• Schedule TBD based on number of athletes.  Released approximately a week before Academy.  Approximate Times 8:00am-2:00pm.  

Cost: $100 

INFO: Our Academy's are a great place for beginning athletes to learn the skills and drills involved in volleyball.   It is also an excellent way for the more experienced club player to deeper their knowledge of their position and role on the team. This is why we offer multiple Level's and Age Divisions.  Hope to see you at an Academy this year!

Level 1 - we teach all basic fundamentals and drill awareness (Geared towards K-5th graders)

Level 2 - we work on all basic volleyball fundamentals but also incorporate more team defensives, slide approaches, jump float serves, and jump setting. (Geared for 6th - 12th graders and Club Athletes)

Level 3 - these are athletes that have made a club team or school team and are wanting more advanced systems training like Offensive Strategies / Defensive Systems / Knowledge of how to win matches.  Not only do we teach fundamentals and come alongside the goals of the athlete, we also put them on the court and compete in wash drills settings.
